Hi all,
I recently bought a GTS 420 at HighFlow and I found out that it doesn't fit into the top mounting bracket of my Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL case. The bracket is L-shaped and there are these small plastic clips that hold the side panel in place. Because of these clips and the width of the GTS 420 radiator it's impossible to mount it to the top bracket. I could mount the fans right under the bracket and the radiator underneath it, but I'm going with RGB fans. So I would have to go for push / pull and I don't want to do that.
Now I was wondering if I could use these Phobya shrouds as a spacer between the radiator and the mounting bracket. Does anyone have a Fractal Design case (Define 7 XL or Meshify 2 XL) together with radiators from HardwareLabs by any chance and knows if this will work? I don't want to order the shrouds just to find out that it still doesn't fit. In this case I would just get another 420 radiator which is not as wide.
Here is a picture of the bracket and the radiator. You can see that the rad touches the clip on the left side because it's a bit too wide.
