Hello,
Got a weird ''problem'' with my Harddisk;
A Samsung F1 1TB HD103UJ.
Whenever I copy a file, doesn't matter if it is to another drive, partition or so, I get an average of 10MB/s transfer speed..
I got 5 Harddisks in my system:
I - Samsung F1 320GB (HD322HJ)
II - Samsung F1 640GB (HD642JJ)
III - Samsung F1 1TB (HD103UJ)
IV - Western Digital Green 640GB (WD6400AARS)
V - Western Digital Green 640GB (WD6400AARS)
----------------------------------
When I copy from I to II, I get an average of ~50MB/s.
Same goes from the WD to the WD (IV to V), I get an average of ~60MB/s
However, when I transfer anything at all (30MB file or 3GB file to 7GB file) from the 1TB (III) I get an average of ~10MB/s, I doesn't matter if I write from III to IV or to II.
I only get this with the 1TB.
What's on it that may cause a load you ask?
Partition 1: Music drive
Partition 2: Movies drive
In other words, the drive doesn't have to work at all, only when there is music of a movie on.
And here some HD Tune results:
HD Tune Benchmark - Read
HD Tune Benchmark - Read (40GB)
^--- What the hell is the uber drop-down?
I've run the test 3 times, every time at approximately the same place i get this epic fail of 3MB/sec.
HD Tune - Random Access
HD Tune - Extra Test
----
Some Windows file transfers:
All 3 files copied to another harddisk.
