Super ontroerende film man, kreeg bijna de waterlanders

Over een hond (Hachi) die gevonden wordt door Richard Gere die hem dan opvoedt.
Hachi gaat elke dag naar treinstation, om te wachten tot zijn baasje weer terug komt van werk.
Zelfs als zijn baasje overleden is, gaat hij dagelijks naar het station om te wachten snik snik...

Hachiko: A Dog's Story is a 2009 American drama film based on a true story from Japan about the faithful dog Hachiko who waited for nine years for his master to fetch him at the train station (hachiko's waiting place when his master arrive from work). His faithfulness to his master's memory impressed the people of Japan as a spirit of family loyalty all should strive to achieve.

A well-known Japanese artist rendered a sculpture of the dog, and throughout the country a new awareness of the Akita breed grew.

Hachiko's legendary faithfulness became a national symbol of loyalty.

Toevallig met kerst gekeken. Mams had de film als cadeau. Wij hebben de kleinere versie van de Akita, de Shiba Inu.

Leuke film. Cuteness warning! Beetje overgedramatiseerd maar dat is altijd zo bij Amerikaanse films.
