Phobya G-Silent 18 700rpm Red LED im Cartago´s Review
Hello and welcome to my new Review
Today I'm going to, for you, the new 180mm fan Phobya of the "teeth feel"
This new fan series is only recently come onto the market and would,
like the 180mm aperture for Nova1080 radiator, so to speak from my idea developed out.
It is very enjoyable to see a manufacturer that implements the ideas
and suggestions of a user and of course the realities of the market in new products.
The fact that the development and production is not "from now on after" happened so normal,
so there are already past couple of months since I've turned to Phobya and the fans have finally come to market.
But now they are there and need to compete in this test against the Phobya Nano-G 120 PWM.
Phobya Returns the fans in their typical red-blue-black packaging,
marked with the Phobya logo and name on one side and the technical data on the other side.
The fans themselves have a matte black frame and red rotor, but this time,
as opposed to the 120 G-silent, the fan blades in a much darker red and are not as clear and transparent.
Unfortunately, the connection cables are not covered, which can be taken negatively on the one hand and on the other hand,
the modders among us to be the cables themselves, in favorite color to sleeving.
The supply is limited and consists of just four mounting screws.
The four built-in LEDs has Phobya, in my opinion, very well chosen,
they are not too bright and thus fit well with the dark-red fan blades.

For the utilization of the CPU caused the program Prime95 (small FFT's) in the latest version and the video card Furmark.
The temperatures were recorded after 60 minutes running.
For logging the Koolance Thermal Management Software v2.1 was responsible.
Since in my test is to improve the efficiency of the fan,
only the temperature difference would be taken into consideration water to air.
This value shows the best performance of the cooling fan, the less pronounced this difference,
the better the existing room air to cool the water used in the radiator.
For both fans varieties of three measurements are made with 5V, 7V, 12V.
The results will lead me clearly in a table together to reduce clutter are no extra values.
Room temperature was almost always constant at about 22 ° + / - 1
All values + - 1 ° for the tolerance
As can be seen in the tables, the G-Silent 180, almost in every shot,
better than the nano-G 120, although the difference is not so big that it would affect
the system but the species is already clear.
The silent G 180 perform, in any tension, their work significantly quieter than the nano-G 120 and the wiring is much smaller.
Of the 8pcs. The running has made me Phobya for this review available seven without any background noise,
and one developed only in the lowest level, around 250rpm, a light grinding of the covers from about 500rpm but quietly through the air noise.
From a distance of about 50cm but the noise is not noticeable.
At 12V, the cooling performance, despite the low speed of about 750rpm, and the huge air noise has discreetly been limited.
This performance and the very good workmanship coupled with the pretty decent design,
I can only with the coveted "Cartago's Review" Award in honor of gold.
