Hi,
I'm building a Threadripper 3990x machine which will have PBO enabled to get the best performance without having to mess around with manual overclocking.
I'm looking for a reliable (24/7 operation) watercooling setup for the CPU alone (500W?) without spending too much money. We will run simulations on the CPU.
I want the simplest setup procedure (I have 1 day to build it), so something like the Alphacool Eisbaer looks nice, however I'm not sure what components I'll need exactly.
The case I'll be using is most probably a Fractal Design R6.
Any advice? if not the Eisbaer option with quick fitting, what should I get that can cool this beast?
no one will ever see the insides of the machine so it doesn't need to look good, just function well.
Thanks!
