Loon; Two loops in a cube case

Finally the graphic card arrived. Here it is with the water block and back plate ready to be assembled. And here it is assembled and put into the case. The cross of the tubes looks stupid, but there was no way to make a tube go from the outlet of the graphics card to the reservoir if I put it...

The motherboard with CPU block, north bridge block and memory fitted. The hard drive case with the HDD and SSD fitted. The SSD rests on a piece of aluminium to make it 3.5" compatible. I painted that piece black to match the case. Here is the mother board in place and with tubes connected...

Loon; Two loops in a cube case

I tested the cooler to see how it would sound. I wasn't impressed. Then I tried to slow the fans down. That cut out the noise. But it still vibrated in a really horrible way. Then I bought two new 60mm fans to replace the ones in the cooler. But of course I forgot to check the thickness, the...

Loon; Two loops in a cube case

The case is pretty much finished now. I have tested it for a couple of days without any signs of leaking. So it was time to buy the hardware. 12GB of memory (2 sets of 3x2GB each). Efficiently packages in eleven tons of plastic. And came with a memory cooler each. But I didn't know that so...

When I finally got to testing the pumps it turned out my Corsair PSU refused to power them. Whenever I tried to power any of the pumps the PSU would just shut down. So I took it out and replaced it with a Fractal Design Newton R2 1000W. The Fractal Design is much smaller and should give me...

I thought about it long and hard. In the end I don't like the fans sucking. And I think I prefer the pumps in the bottom. Also there would be a lot of screwing in the case if I would change it now. :woot But it did deserve to be considered. So thanks for the suggestions.

Good point. But then the fans would suck air through the radiator instead of blowing. And from what I understand that is less efficient. Unless you propose I mount them the other way, but then there would be a lot more fans blowing out air then in. They are TFC Xchanger radiators btw. I have...

The only way I could do that would be to either put the radiator off centered or to put holes through one of the two cross beams on top of the case. I fear the latter might make the whole thing collapse. Personally I quite like the tubes on top.

This is the second radiator assembled with shrouds and fans and mounted on the roof. Also I have mounted the tubes that are going from the fill ports to the reservoirs. And here is the roof finally in place. I have hold off on this for a long time, because once I put the roof in place and...

A bit of cable management. I won't be needing these cables for a while and wanted them out of the way. I also tried to resleeve them. But I couldn't remove the cables from the 24-pin ATX and the PCI-X connectors. All I managed to do was to break my Sunbeam tool. I'm ignoring it for now, but I...

Loon; Two loops in a cube case

Two reasons; First, I would have to use a 360 radiator in the front for the first loop, and I couldn't bare the thought of the second loop using a different radiator. Secondly, I thought it would be too much work to cut open the cover plate on the top to fit a 240 radiator. Plus I was a little...

Updated with this weekends work. Thanks for all the good words. Now I need to make the hard decision on what color scheme to use for tubes and such. I have been putting that off.

This one I bought from Inet.se. But I see it's on sale on HighFlow as well. The case itself seems to be quite common, but most addons are quite rare.

First of all, sorry for having to resort to English here. Let me know if you have a problem with it and I will switch to Swedish. I thought I should post my build log on your forum since I will buy most cooling equipment from HighFlow anyway. There is a shortage of good shops like this in...

I was thinking about putting up a build log somewhere. Might just as well do it here. Should I put it in the Build log section, even though I'd have to write it in English?

Just want to say hi from northern Sweden. I got my first package from HighFlow today. Took a while but otherwise it went smooth. I will definitely buy again. Well actually I kind of have to. There used to be some shops in Sweden that sold at least some water cooling stuff. But they seem to have...
